Welcome to HCSC

As a Club member you will enjoy the facilities of a modern clubhouse opened in 2013.

HCSC club house

The clubhouse enjoys one of the best views in the Western Solent looking out across the Keyhaven marshes towards Hurst Castle and the Isle of Wight. It has a large clubroom with panoramic windows and a balcony. There is a modern well equipped galley and comfortable changing rooms with lockers and showers for both men and women.

HCSC Saturday Handicap Racing

The Club runs a full programme of sailing events throughout the season including mid-week and Saturday handicap racing events, pottering around Keyhaven River

and its creeks as well as sailing to more distant locations in the Western Solent. There is also a programme of cruising for larger boats to more distant locations including Portsmouth and Poole.

Sailing training sessions are run during the season for juniors and adults using RYA Qualified Instructors.

The Club has a dinghy park adjacent to the clubhouse for some 130 boats. There is currently a waiting list for spaces in the park.

The local boatyard, West Solent Boat Builders, can provide dinghy parking - see Links for access to their website and more information about their boat parking services.
