Regatta Fun Day on Hurst Beach

Sunday 13th Aug 14:00 at Hurst Spit (at the entrance to Keyhaven River

Food & Drink:

• Bring your own food and drink.

• 2 Club Charcoal BBQs will be on the Spit lit and ready to use. Bring your own portable BBQs if you prefer.

Activities & Entertainment

• The spectacular Single-handed Rowing Race open to members of HCSC and KYC. Racing for the magnificent Collins Cup.

• - Craft must have a minimum beam of 4ft. Start:- 15:15. Entries:- To Commodore on the day.

• Kite Flying – bring your own kite. Prizes for the most ornamental that flies for at least 2 minutes!

• Paddle Boarding – 30 minute taster sessions at £7.50 per person per session. Have a go under the watchful eye of a professional trainer. Please book before the day by contacting Mike Hamilton, Rear Commodore Sailing sailing@hcsc.org.uk

Or Just relax and maybe have a swim!

Don’t forget, if you don’t have a boat to get to the Fun Day, book one of the Club fleet. Club Support Boats will be on hand but they can only offer limited space.

NB – There are no facilities on the Spit and everything you take with you must go home with you.
