New Members Day

SATURDAY, 18th MAY starting at 10.00 New Members’ Day

– a bit of a misnomer because, though we will especially inviting people who have joined over the last year, we also need plenty of existing members to meet them, share their experiences and help new members to get to know the river.

No matter when you joined the Club, if you feel you need to get to know the place, the facilities or the members a bit better, do come along. It is a good opportunity to get on the water with others.

There will be people around to demonstrate how to rig the Club dinghies (one Keyhaven Scow, one Lymington River Scow, six Hartley 12.2’s and five Oppie Trainers (for the smaller sailor)) and then either to take you on the water in one of them, or to supervise you from a Support Boat while you try it yourself. We will have coffee and biscuits available at the start and tea and cake at the end.

Please bring a cake if you can and also a snack lunch if you think you will need it.
