Christmas Lunch

Event Cancelled

After due agonizing and with regret, we have decided to cancel the planned lunch next week. With general anxiety rising about the new strain of Covid 19, it does not seem a good idea to put a group of people in close quarters, even with a good stream of cold air. The date is very close to Christmas and many of our members will be hoping to see family so why jeopardise that? Sorry to disappoint people. It is always a good event. We hope we can re-schedule, perhaps in January, when we might know more about the infection rates. That month can be a bit of a low time as well so it might be a good time to be cheerful.
